Dentsu Grant is the coming together of the Grant Group, the pioneers of advertising in Sri Lanka since 1958, and the Dentsu Aegis Network, one of the largest award winning agency networks in the world, to create a unique entity that combines a deep knowledge and love of Sri Lanka with world class innovation, knowhow, and technology.

We’ve been at the top of our game for the last 59 years. We put the green and white stripe in Elephant House. We put the red check in Kist. We helped to eradicate polio. We helped Sri Lankan Airlines take flight. These are just a few of our prouder moments.

How we became what we are...

History

Founded in 1958 by the incredible Reggie Candappa, dubbed the Godfather of Sri Lankan Advertising, our agency has a peerless history of brilliance and achievement. A man of many talents – photographer, artist, graphic designer, political cartoonist, and ad man – Reggie started the agency at his dining room table with his wife Theresa and their first client, TWA (Trans World Airlines). Clients like Browns & Co., Singer, Reckitt Benckiser, Shell, and Bata Shoes soon followed. Singer has now been a client for 56 years, Reckitt Benckiser for 54.

Although Reggie is no longer with us, we continue to go from strength to strength under the leadership of his daughter Neela, who has been at the helm since 1993. The agency that kick-started advertising in Sri Lanka continues to shape and redefine it.

This is the legacy of the Grant Group. This is our heart, and this is who we will continue to be.
